Europe's biggest alpine music festival returns in April, jam packed with one of the hottest line-ups you'll see! Expect performances from Liam Gallagher, Foals, The Streets, Loyal Carner & Chase + Status, all in the beautiful mountain resort of Mayrhofen, Austria. 

The dates are Saturday 11th – Sunday 19th April 2020.

We are looking for volunteer stewards with the ability to think on their feet, and who have a keen interest in working within the events industry, to join our stewarding team. This opportunity is a great experience. As a steward, you are the first person that the customers meet at the festival. All of our team will be expected to behave in a professional and sensible manner for the whole duration of the event.

In exchange for volunteering, during your time off, you will have access to the festival. In addition, we will provide a common area for you to chill out in your down time. Snowbombing will provide you with:

- three meals a day

- a bed in shared accommodation

- transport to and from the UK by coach. 

- If you wish to ski, you will be provided with an optional ski and lift pass

You may be involved in any of the following areas across the duration of the event e.g. repping coaches to the resort from the UK, customer check in and arrival process, supporting venue management, wristband checking and scanning, managing cloakrooms and assisting customers.

We are expecting to have many applicants for this event and will be choosing a team who understand our values and will be an asset to the Snowbombing team.

It’s important to know in advance that working as a steward is often hard work and can, at times, be demanding. The experience and being part of the team definitely makes it worthwhile.

You will need to make your initial application on ROOTS, we will then filter the applications and you will be required to do a minimum of one video interview as part of the shortlisting process.

If your application is successful you will be provided with a Steward Handbook which will explain the basics of the job, and detail what to do in any situations you may come across. We will make sure you are prepared and feel confident in your role. We are here to help every step of the way.
